250th Anniversary Celebration
Founding of San Francisco & America's Birthday
In recognition of the 250th anniversaries of the arrival of the 1775–76 Anza Expedition in San Francisco and the American Revolutionary events of the East Coast — including the Declaration of Independence — we celebrate Anza 250 / America 250: West & East Coasts in 1776. Join us for an entry procession, flag ceremonies, re-enactors, period dress, music, prayers, and the roll call of the 240 men, women, and children escorted to Alta California by Juan Bautista de Anza.
